A few updates… small changes. ;)

My lovely reader,

some of you might have noticed it so far but I wrote my first “larger” manga review for this blog. *happy dance*
(A former entry was dedicated to Sternensammler, written in english.)

What does it mean? For those who worry: no, I don’t neglect my gay romance titles. They will be still the major part of my blog.  I will only add manga review to my range of reviews to enlarge the variety.

Throwback Thursday #9

This feature should “throw” you back a year ago. This feature is made by me and I’ll post my read books in the CW (calender week) the year before.
I explain it: it’s the year 2016, I throw back to 2015. Every Thursday I look up which CW we have and go this exact CW in the year before back. 2017 I throw back to 2016 and so on. 😉
But let’s see how it works. 😉

News: K.C. Wells’ Lightning Tales and Personal series in German

Proudly I can announce this: I was recommended by several lovely person to do a proofreading of a German translation (by great translators). ❤

My first proofreading was to N.R. Walker’s Red Heart Dirt, which was self-published in German under the title Rote Erde. *check it out* 🙂 [I am also mentioned in the credits ;)]

Then I was asked – a few weeks after this – by K.C. Wells to help with two series. :3 Of course I said yes and I was so honored. ❤

And those books I’ve proofread were volume 1+2 of the Lightning Tales series and one of  the Personal series. Check the books out below. 🙂 [synopsis is in German but I post the english link, so have a look]

Gay Romance manga: Sternensammler (Anna Backhausen & Sophie Schönhammer)

I am normally a bit hesitantly with presenting gay romance manga (called boys love, yaoi or shonen ai*) on my blog since I like to specialize on gay romance books. But I also love to share a bit my love for a great german artist/author duo. The two ladies are Anna Backhausen (aka Holzesserin, in english her penname can be translateted as “Woodeater”) and Sophie Schönhammer (aka Salamandra). They produced a boys love manga called Sternensammler (in english: Collector of the stars, Chaser of the stars).

*the term “shonen ai” is a one which is often used in Germany to describe a less sensual, less explicit gay romance manga. I use this term not this way. I either call manga “yaoi”, “gay romance manga” or as the official, in  Japan used term “Boys love”. “Shonen Ai” won’t be used here so it won’t confuses the reader. 🙂
