Fake marriage is actually a trope I adore utmost and everytime my hand snatches a book in this category I’m delighted.
The book is connected to the My Anti-series but is perfectly able to read as a stand alone. We met Chris in the former books, as well as Ant (short for Bryant) but where in My Anti-Valentine the two of them seem like enemies, in this book they have to change their views about each other.
I loved how the relationship could grow even if the circumstances weren’t the best to be honest; it’s not that Chris and Ant don’t have feelings for each other, but they are sometimes deep burried or hidden under the fear of getting hurt (again).
The way DJ Jamison created the tension, the sexual one as well the emotional was great fleshed out and I enjoyed the rollercoaster ride extraordenary. 🙂
We see different sides of Ant and Chris, especially Ant captured my heart when he opened up more and more.
The HEA is adorable, kind of crazy, but so fitting to the two guys. 😀
I laughed several times in particular scenes, the two guys are adorably hilarious and the chemistry and friendship between the group of guys is heartwarming. 🙂
5 out of 5 stars for this book with a topic I love, one where I totally root for the guys to have their HEA. 😀
