Throwback Thursday #4

I explain it: it’s the year 2016, I throw back to 2015. Every Thursday I look up which CW we have and go this exact CW in the year before back. 2017 I throw back to 2016 and so on. ๐Ÿ˜‰
But let’s see how it works. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Within Wednesday / Mittendrin Mittwoch # 1 – From the Ashes

This weekly blog feature hosted gracefuly by elizzy91 from readbooksandfallinlove is all about quotes.
You list the lines from the books you are currently reading. Give the thoughts to those lines.

But let’s do this. ๐Ÿ™‚ It sounds fun and this is my first time attending to this. ๐Ÿ˜‰
(and of course I changed the name a bit since I write in englishย  -but it’s still fitting ;))

Top Ten Tuesday #3: Top 15 all about audio – favorite songs I connect to books (september 20th)

In this TTT (Top Ten Tuesday) meme which is hosted weekly with the utmost grace by The Broke and the Bookish I list my Top 15 favorite songs I connect – more or less to books I’ve read. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sometimes they are fitting because of the song’s meaning, sometimes they only were playing while reading and I feel connected to them.

I couldn’t reduce to 10 so I chose 15 songs. Due not to do any copyright infringement I’ll only post the artist and the song name. You have to look up the songs by yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚

Gay Romance manga: Sternensammler (Anna Backhausen & Sophie Schรถnhammer)

I am normally a bit hesitantly with presenting gay romance manga (called boys love, yaoi or shonen ai*) on my blog since I like to specialize on gay romance books. But I also love to share a bit my love for a great german artist/author duo. The two ladies are Anna Backhausen (aka Holzesserin, in english her penname can be translateted as “Woodeater”) and Sophie Schรถnhammer (aka Salamandra). They produced a boys love manga called Sternensammler (in english: Collector of the stars, Chaser of the stars).

*the term “shonen ai” is a one which is often used in Germany to describe a less sensual, less explicit gay romance manga. I use this term not this way. I either call manga “yaoi”, “gay romance manga” or as the official, inย  Japan used term “Boys love”. “Shonen Ai” won’t be used here so it won’t confuses the reader. ๐Ÿ™‚

Share the Love Sunday # 2 – Connichi special (september 16th – september 18th)

A bit delayed and with a special topic I love to write about the convention I’ve attended this weekend. Every third (or fourth) week in September there is the manga and anime convention Connichi, Kassel (my university city). This year it was from september 16th – september 18th.
Since it’s only half an hour away from my hometown it’s a must to visit this convention and meet friends. โค
