Why do I wait for it?
An anthology with five out of seven favourite authors? And two I haven’t actually read a novel but have several titles on my TBR-list? Hell yeah, I can’t wait to read this. :3 Luckily the waiting is soon over. :3
The teaser picture look so good and I am bursting literarlly with anticipation. :3

That looks excellent! I’m not normally a novella reader, but the idea of ‘the one’ being right in front of them the whole time seems really cute.

I have a divided opinion about novellas and short stories. Sometimes – and I have several examples for this – those are as perfect as a full lengh novel. :3 Or are even better because they don’t have the boring “filling” parts and are right on point. Because if we be honest: writing a short story and a novella is more difficult than a full lengh novel 😉
So, this collection is for me like a selection “best of the best”. ❤ And those I adore *^*

You’re right, when a novella is good it’s really good! I just think, for me, sometimes I find that everything comes together too fast in a novella. Especially if they’re starting from scratch, just meeting. I think that’s another reason this one sounds good, because it’s someone they already know.

Yeah, the author has to be aware of the pace in the story.
But I can tell you at least 3 authors I love which can do both or three forms great.
K.C. Wells was a writer who really impressed me. She has a constant telling with a guiding treat in her Collars & Cuffs series but writes also great Novellas and Short stories. Actually the short story Back from the Edge. I was blasted away. :3
Or Jay Northcote. Damaged Package is one of my favorite short stories. Or Coming Home by her.
And of course also Riley Hart writes great ones… 🙂 Her bundles up novella book with stories about her Blackcreek guys for example. :3

I can totally recommend them. Have to add that K.C. Wells writes BSDM, at least it’s the Collars & Cuffs series, the other are often contemporary romance.
But the BDSM is very well researched and I had great times reading the books. The series is finished with 8 volumes. 🙂

BDSM theme stories are hit or miss with me. I’ve read some and loved them, and some of them bother me. Sometimes I think they’re a new fad. I do plan to check these out. So thank you.

Yeah… it’s a bit boring that so many author seem to “explore” the genre so suddenly… *yeah, I look at you lady who wrote Shades of Grey* XD
I can totally understand your concern because it’s the same for me…
Some are so beyond my comfort zone I can’t stand. Other are okay because I understand why… nothing is more a bummer than a BDSM story where I can’t understand why there is this need of the character maybe to submit or to be a slave or what ever…
This is why I love the ones by K.C. Wells and also those by Pandora Pine are good: they explaing, show me, why their character love this. Why they do this…
Oh, another recommendation: “His boy” by Bink Cummings. 🙂 Sexy as hell. *swoon* :3
