Good morning my lovely readers,
today I wanna share my review of Garrett Leigh’s latest book, Dream, with you. Book one in the new Skins series with one character we already know, Dylan, from What Matters, Garrett Leigh’s standalone M/F book. You remember the hot scene Dylan was involved? Good, because his book is hot as well. :3
See this post for a giveaway. Also see this post for my release blitz. A list of the other review tour participants is below, so visit their blogs too. 🙂
Happy reading. 🙂

Dream is another great book by Garrett Leigh and a promising start of a new series.
The book focuses on Dylan, who we’ve met already in What Matters where he had the hot threesome with his best friend Sam and his amazing girlfriend Eddie. But after these two friends of him found their HEA, Dylan is searching for his soulmate.
Working as a dept advisor in a bureau from 9 to 5, he is pretty different from the guy he is after work who loves to visit a sex club to get his sexual need satisfied. The anonymity he meets there is what he wants and he is dearly satisfied when he meets there Angel, who gives him what he dearly needs. Never had he expected to see him outside this club, especially not in his bureau.
But soon Dylan can’t stop thinking of Angel, Angelo actually and also Angelo is uncharacteristically fascinated by Dylan, who’s so different from the guy he met in the club.
Both buys are gravitating towards each other, mix their daily live with each other and start to share secrets and worries with each other – sometimes involuntary.
I loved how Garrett Leigh created a natural flow in the development in their relationship. They click like two pieces in a puzzle without knowing it first, help and support each other in different ways; the balance is there and with every piece we get to know about Angelo and Dylan, the picture is becoming more vividly.
Garrett Leigh puts in her books always pretty heavy topics, often do her characters suffer from something, and this time it’s not different with Angelo suffering from ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis/Chronic fatigue syndrome), an illness which is without cure and for the patient different in the severness; Angelo is suffering from it this much he can’t continue his ballett dancing, has to burry his dream.
This devastating fact is well included in the book, and the way how Garrett Leigh deals with the illness, the way how she describes it, shows how it is to live with an illness like this but not to see it as a death sentence, but on the other hand she isn’t sugar coating it. It’s again the marvelous realism she is showing, the awareness she points out without being condescending. She is also showing how other people can help, and it’s moving and touching how Dylan is taking care of Angelo.
I loved how both guys completed each other, how they filled the gaps of the parts both guys were missing, and the way how they created a live together is sweet and adorable.
I can’t wait to read the next book. 5 out of 5 stars for this. 🙂

I can’t sleep…
When unrequited love leaves Dylan Hart sleepless and nursing his wounds, instinct draws him to the one place he’s found mindless respite in the past—Lovato’s. It’s a place for every fantasy — for crazy-hot encounters — where a night of insane NSA sex brings relief to Dylan’s fragile feelings.
It should be a perfect escape, and for one magical night it seems that way, but then worlds collide, and reality bites when his hookup desperately needs a friend. Surely Dylan can’t trust his instincts when friendship has bruised his heart so badly before?
It’s burying me alive…The deck is stacked against former ballet dancer Angelo Giordano ever finding real love. At least visiting Lovato’s offers respite from a life defined by illness; a glimmer of light in the dull grey of his so-called life without dance. But then he encounters Dylan — a glorious ray of the brightest sunshine — who makes his heart pound once more with purpose.
Angelo’s mind is blown by this man, but the disease that ended his career won’t let him bask in new love. He’s drowning, and Dylan can’t save him while insecurities swamp them both. The only way to make it means confronting their demons.
If Dylan can turn his back on the past, and Angelo can face his uncertain future, maybe they can chase their dreams together.
