Reservations by Kindle Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Normally I am really eager to read a Kindle Alexander book but this time I took a while until I could connect with the book.
I have honestly to say a lot of the book’s weakness lies within the length. Where it is sometimes a good thing to have more pages and more space to develop the character this time it felt a bit tedicious and partly tiresomely.
I also wasn’t totally satisfied with the insta-lust of Thane and Levi, it felt a bit flat and Thane had some actions I was annoyed by.
Later in the book I got the chemistry, the erotic encounter were hot and it was well-described in the sexy manner we know from the duo Kindle Alexander. 🙂
The plot took a time to be full explored and towards the end there is a bit drama, but I won’t say what kind of, I don’t want to dull the suspense.
Although I wasn’t always happy with Thane I had great fun with Levi. I loved his character and how he was shown. His attitude and how well he is caring for his brothers is sweet and so devoting. He is truly a good role model and I liked also the chemistry between the three boys.
The club, Reservations, was a nice setting although I was – next to Thane – sometimes a bit irritated by Julian and didn’t know what to think of him. So, in the beginning I wasn’t that happy with the good mannered mockings of Levi when he made clear what his no-go’s are. I have to say honestly, that was the part I couldn’t shrug off: Levi didn’t liked to be touched and seen as “fresh meat” in the club, but it seems to be necessary that he “accepts” this. Also Thane’s hitting at the beginning was a thing I party get, because yeah, the attraction is there, but it felt a bit flat first that Thane only saw Levi as a quick sexual encounter, someone to relieve his “stress” with…
It sounds like I didn’t liked the book at all but that’s not the case. It just had a few hiccups and I wasn’t sure, if this would have continued, if I would like it.
Luckily the character changed or showed different sides and I could enjoy the further read.
What I really appreciated was the reappearance of other well-known character like Arik from Painted On My Heart or Tristan from Secret.
The book get’s all in all 4 stars, it was a solid read, with nice character but unfortunately it couldn’t hook me like the other books by the author duo and also the length was a bit too much and I think it would have become a better outcome if it would have been shorter.
Check out the great cover:

Author’s bio – Kindle Alexander
Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It’s always a surprise to see what’s coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women’s hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.
