Continue the fun in Episodes 4 – 6 of the romantic comedy serial by best-selling author Leta Blake and newcomer Alice Griffiths!
Episode Four: Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings
Will and Patrick have embraced adding hot sexy-times to their fake marriage, but as their emotions deepen, they confront whether or not they want to be more than friends-with-benefits. The heat is high (and occasionally kinky) as Will and Patrick struggle to accept their mutual affection.
Episode Five: Will & Patrick Meet the Mob
Patrick has finally accepted that he’s in love with Will, but his newfound determination to do something about that runs up against his father-in-law’s mobster plans. Will must face the truth about his family before he can fully come to terms with his feelings for Patrick. And Patrick has to decide if this whackadoodle world is something he truly wants to be part of forever.
Episode Six: Will & Patrick’s Happy Ending
Sure, Will and Patrick are in love now, but they weren’t when they got married in Vegas. For Patrick, that’s no problem, but Will can’t shake his doubts that a relationship started through coercion can ever become the real deal. Since the Molinaro crime family has reversed their position on divorce, Will and Patrick have a chance to rectify their drunken mistake. But is divorce the right choice for them?

The second book starst where the first ended and the crazy situations why Patrick and Will have to stay married aren’t changed. But after going through a lot of things together and getting to know EACH other better they seem to build up feelings.
So, what do you do when you fall in love with your husband? And what do you do when your father in law is a crazy mafia chef, the mother in law a lady who is switching from guy to guy… and what do you do when your husband is knowing a lot of secrets you wished you could bury deep?
These events all happen in the second bundled up novel of the Wake up Married series with the caring but arrogant, mostly rude surgeon Patrick and his husband-what-the-heck-happend Will.
We get to see a different Patrick, one who is very different from the first bundled book, as well as a totally changed Will. Still his dependency from his family is a bit hard to understand but with Patrick at his side he is more and more confident and say what he wants, and that with fierceness.
The ending is sweet and the drama at the end is fitting although it stresses a lot of the reader’s nerves. 🙂

Die Show muss weiter gehen – oh, warte, die Ehe ist es….
Das zweite Buch schließt nahtlos an dem ersten Band an und die verrückte Situation, in der sich Patrick und Will befinden, hat sich nicht geändert. Aber nach all den Hochs und Tiefs, die sie beide gemeinsam durchleben, lernen sie SICH immer besser kennen und es entwickeln sich Gefühle zwischen ihnen, an die keiner gedacht hätte.
Nun, was macht man also, wenn man sich in seinen Ehemann verliebt? Und wenn man mit dem Schwiegervater zurecht kommen muss, der ein Mafiaoberhaupt ist und einer Schwiegermutter, die von Affaire zu Affaire hüpft.. und was macht man, wenn der Ehemann Dinge weiß, die man am liebsten ganz tief vergraben geglaubt hätte?
All diese Dinge passieren in dem zweiten Sammelband der Überraschend…-Reihe mit Patrick, dem sich sorgenden, aber arroganten, meist unhöflichen Chirurgen und seinem Ehemann-wie-zur-Hölle-ist-das-passiert Will.
Wir sehen einen veränderten Patrick, einer der sich komplett vom Beginn des ersten Bandes abhebt, zudem aber auch ein grundlegend geänderter Will. Seine Abhängigkeit von seiner Familie ist nachwievor schwer zu verstehen, aber mit Patrick an seiner Seite wird er immer selbstbewusster und spricht aus, was er möchte, und das mit wachsender Entschlossenheit.
Das Ende war süß und das Drama ist passend, wenngleich es nochmal an den Nerven des Lesers zehrt. 🙂
Either you love or hate this series. Truth to say you have to go through a lot of craziness and be confident with somekind broken character. If you are interested in all those things this series is a lot of fun.
For this book and the series I give 5 out of 5 stars.
Entweder mag man die Reihe oder man hasst sie. Ehrlichweise ist zu sagen, dass man durch eine Menge verrückter Momente gehen und einige gebrochene Figuren kennenlernen muss. Wenn man daran interessiert ist, ist die Serie ein Riesenspaß.
Diesem Buch und der Serie gebe ich 5 von 5 Sternen.
