The question
It’s the November 11th, it is the official beginning of karneval*. What are your thoughts?
Hell no, I try to avoid karneval as much as I can. Living near a city where it is celebrated I don’t like it really, luckily I don’t like in the area around Cologne. I can’t really compare to the passion for it and I am happy with sitting in my flat, reading a good book and let the other celebrate. xD It is the same with Halloween, though Helloween is slightly better. xD
*it is typical in Germany to celebrate the beginning on this day. And especially at 11.11 am 🙂
What about you? Are you a huge fan or do you avoid it? To my foreign follower: what special karneval(s) do you have? Is there an official date to celebrate the start? 🙂
