This feature should “throw” you back a year ago. This feature is made by me and I’ll post my read books in the CW (calender week) the year before.
I explain it: it’s the year 2016, I throw back to 2015. Every Thursday I look up which CW we have and go this exact CW in the year before back. 2017 I throw back to 2016 and so on. 😉
But let’s see how it works. 😉
Calender Week 43 2016 (october 24th – october 30th) — Calender Week 43 2015 (october 19th – october 25th)
My detailed reads between october 19th and october 25th were:
Texas Pride by Kindle Alexander
When mega movie star and two time Academy Award winner, Austin Grainger voluntarily gave up his dazzling film career, his adoring fan base thought he’d lost his mind. For Austin, the seclusion of fifteen hundred acres in the middle of Texas sounds like paradise. No more cameras, paparazzi, or overzealous media to hound him every day and night. Little did the sexiest man alive know when one door closes, another usually opens. And Austin’s opened by way of a sexy, hot ranch owner right next door.
Kitt Kelly wasn’t your average rancher. He’s young, well educated and has hidden his sexuality for most of his life. When his long time wet dream materializes as his a new neighbor it threatens everything he holds dear. No way the ranching community would ever accept him if he came out. With every part of his life riding on the edge, can Kitt risk it all for a chance at love or will responsibility to his family heritage cost him his one chance at happiness?
What I think about it?
A hot cowboy meets a movie star? Damn, hot stuff. ❤ I had a great time to read this book though it was a bit different from the books by Kindle Alexander before. 🙂
I couldn’t give the book full 5 stars so only 4.5 because a few events were a bit hasty… 🙂

I love when MC are totally different and that was the case here. :3 A plus in this book were the kids. ❤ Adorable and I love it so much in books. ❤
Also love the contrast between an arist (fotograph is a part of it for me) and a labour. 🙂

What I think about it?
Bundled as a full collection I read this series as a author debut. I really loved it. :3 I liked the age gap between Harvey & George. Sometimes the drama in it was nearly a bit too much 😉 With lovely minor character. 🙂
Alasdair (Master among Monsters # 1) by Ella Frank
A dangerous allure…
Alasdair Kyriakous is one of the most feared and ruthless vampires in existence. Bestowed eternal life by the Ancient Vasilios, his name carries much weight across the continents.
But he is a mystery to his kind, an anomaly among the self-indulgent. While he enjoys the pleasures of the flesh, he is exceptionally particular in who he takes them from, priding himself on his ironclad self-control.
Yet with one look, and one man, his control will become a thing of the past, and Alasdair will discover—eternal life doesn’t always last forever…
A deadly attraction…
Thrust into a world he never knew existed, Leo Chapel has awoken in his worst nightmare. One that is being orchestrated by the dangerously, mesmerizing vampire, Alasdair.
He’s taken him hostage, convinced that Leo is hiding something after he managed to incapacitate him, and has vowed to do whatever is necessary to discover what that is—even if Leo himself has no clue.
A forbidden desire that could destroy a race…
Brought together by a force neither are aware of, both Alasdair and Leo are ignorant that they are pawns to a higher power. All they know, is the more time they spend trying to uncover the others secrets, the stronger the attraction becomes.
But enemies are watching, from afar and from within, and when decisions that will alter lives and destinies have to be made—can a dead grey heart learn to beat again?
What I think about it?
Paranormal and sexy with a mean cliffhanger. >.<
Alasdair was sexy as hell, Leo (short for Leonidas) as well, too. But I only give the book 4 out of 5 stars, cause something was missing or I have to say the last part was too rushed. I’ve waited for the first erotic scene since the beginning, and this one was mega hot, but I wished it had be a bit longer. 😄
Did you know what you’ve read during this period? Do you have lists? Do those lists inspire you to re-read a book? 🙂 Tell me if you like. 🙂
