An amazing third volume of the series but totally fine to read as a stand alone. The only connection to the first and second novel was the mentioning by the other heroes.
What I liked very much about the book was the slowly change from friends turn into lover and the light drama behind. People would say: light drama? Yes, I see it was a light drama with only the aspect at the end as a surprising fact. But the dilemma was already set with the blurb. It was heart-clenching to see the outcome of everything and what impact such a thing can have.
I really liked Luke and Brandon – single and together – , two charming guys, very funny, a bit rural and from the country side and with a great dynamics. They are well developed and you had an instant connection to them.
It was really touching that also Luke’s father wasn’t this huge prick you thought about and a lot of things were explained during the book.
I am really curious if we get a fourth volume in the series (it seems so) and who’s next. 🙂
5 out of 5 stars.
