A touch of magic, and suddenly a body swap.
The two former best friends Olly and Scott live their lives quite separated from each other although their friendship was strong as they were younger. Due to certain misunderstandings, Olly get in distance with Scott – something Scott didn’t really understand. But fate is a strong thing and so both guys wake up and found themself in the body of the other! What the hell?
Genuine confused but dealing the best with it, both guys get in contact again. And found things out nobody would have thought…
The story was a bit magical with the body swap topic. It was totally sweet and true of emotions. The journey the two boys have to go through is saccharin sweet but also heartclenching. Both boys feel so much for each other – but only one is first truly honest about it – at least to himself.
Although it’s a YA novel the sensual tension is really great, you get an insight of two pubescent boys who explore their first feelings. With a great wit and truly believable topics, Jay Northcote did an awesome, fabulous job.
And as every good magical touched book the end was like out of a movie. 🙂 The HEA was guaranteed 🙂
5 out of 5 stars; dream a bit and let the magic work – both, the character as well as the book’s topic are lovely. I highly recommend this. Grab it when it’s out. 🙂
